How to live healthy with diabetes ?

Today Diabetes has become a familiar name for all of us.  Diabetes has become of the largest spreading deadly disease if not treated on time. Unhealthy eating and modern lifestyle are one of the major reason behind spreading this disease. As we are totally depended on modern lifestyle and slowly forget to do exercise, yoga walking etc .

The older you get, the faster time seems to go. An in this fastest living there is no time to take healthy food or doing any healthy thing. That’s why now a days diabetes has been increasing day by day. Unhealthy lifestyle has played a major role behind that . People are in hurry always due to which they skip their breakfast which is one of the most important meal of the day . Diabetes, better known as the lifestyle disease, is becoming an epidemic world wide. Along with other forms of exercise, Yoga helps a lot to control and prevent diabetes.

Practice yoga in the morning and evening for 40 to 60 minutes with the recommended series of postures according to one’s capacity. In this busy life its very important to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Yoga is one of the best way to keep disease at bay if it taken properly. If you have diabetes  and couldn’t find perfect solution for your treatment then yoga is one of the best ayurvedic solution .

Stress  has played a major contributing factor in diabetes (and we’ve all heard that yoga reduces stress). When we’re stressed, our blood sugar levels increase, putting a strain on the entire body. The use of controlled breathing techniques, postures, and meditation will enable you to relax the body and manage your stress more effectively.

Practicing certain asanas such as Ardha Matsyendrasana (half-twist pose) combined with Dhanurasana (bow pose), Vakrasana (twisted pose), Matsyendrasana (half-spinal twist), Halasana (plough pose) squeezes and compresses the abdomen and helps stimulate the pancreatic secretions or hormonal secretions. As a result, more insulin is pushed into the system. This rejuvenates the insulin producing beta cells in the pancreas of diabetics suffering from both type 1 and 2. Practicing the postures in a relaxed manner, without exertion, meditation and breathing techniques help most patients control the triggers or causes of diabetes.
